Notes: Boxelder is a low maintenance tree often used for shade. Prefers moderate to wet soil conditions. Blooms are insignificant greenish-yellow. Leaves have 3 leaflets resembling poison ivy.
Wildlife: Nuts are eaten by squirrels.
